Morphological data on Antarctic notothenioid fishes, humphead notothen Gobionotothen gibberifrons (Lonnberg) from different islands of the Scotia Sea, marbled notothen Notothenia rossii Richardson from the Kerguelen Islands (fam. Nototheniidae), and sailfin planderfish Histiodraco velifer (Regan) (fam. Artedidraconidae) from the Davis, Cosmonaut, Ross, Cooperation, and Weddell Seas based on materials of Russian, Polish, and German Antarctic expeditions, are provided. The phenomenon of the iterative evolution taking place at the diversification of species of the genus Gobionotothen is discussed.
