Main research areas:
Ecology three spine stickleback (Gasterosteus aculeatus L.) and parasites’ role in regulation of abundance of stickleback in the White Sea. Understanding of trends in long-term dynamic of population abundance of the three spine stickleback in the White Sea during last century using historical sources ( and quantitative sampling (since 2006), spatial distribution of adults and juveniles during reproduction period, fauna of parasites of stickleback and association of parasite invasion with age, sex, biotope and its seasonal changes.
