Genus Hadeocoleodes Ponomarenko, 1969 (Myxophaga: Schizophoridae): atlas of extinct beetle taxa

Genus Hadeocoleodes Ponomarenko, 1969 (type species: Hаdeocoleodes calus Ponomarenko, 1969, by monotypy)

The genus includes one species of medium size (6.5-7.5 mm) with widely explanate sides of pronotum and long elytra, moderately long and thin hind legs, especially tibiae and tarsi, as well as moderately large metacoxa. Outwardly, and especially the structure of the prothorax this genus is similar to the genus Hadeocoleus, but differs from the latter in a shorter prosternal process and metaventrite anteriorly narrowed.
