October, 2004. The monograph by V.I. Tobias "Parasitic entomophagous insects, their biological characteristics, and types of parasitism" is published as a separate issue of Trudy of the Russian Entomological Society (Vol. 75, no. 2). (In Russian)

May, 2004. Collection of the scientific papers dedicated to celebrating the 75th birthday of the well-known Russian entomologist, Professor and Doctor of Sciences, Vladimir Ivanovich Tobias is published. All papers included in the book are available here.

March, 2004 – February, 2006. INTAS research project "The terrestrial fauna and flora of the Insect Bed, Isle of Wight: interpreting the climate near the Eocene/Oligocene boundary".
