On the morphology and taxonomy of the genera Halys and Neohalys (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Halyini)

Резюме. Подробно переописаны терминалии самцов и самок Halys sulcatus (Thunberg, 1783) и H. magnus Chopra, 1974, nom. resurr., включая полностью раздутые эдеагусы. Проанализировано распространение этих таксонов. Показано, что H. sulcatus достоверно указан только из южных регионов Индии, а H. magnus – только из северных; многочисленные указания “H. dentatus” из центральных регионов Индии в литературе невозможно достоверно отнести ни к одному из этих таксонов. Показано, что почти все признаки терминалий, использовавшиеся прежде для различения H. sulcatus и H. magnus, очень изменчивы и не имеют хиатуса в своей изменчивости. Обнаружен промежуточный тип парамера между таковыми у этих двух таксонов. На изученном (не очень большом) материале лишь форма вооружения переднего края гипофиза парамера (положение зубчика, наличие или отсутствие рёбрышка проксимальнее его основания) оказалась признаком, позволяющим различить северные и южные популяции. Однако отсутствие корреляции этого признака с другими, даже малозначительными признаками, а также литературные данные об изменчивости парамера заставляют сомневаться в том, что H. sulcatus и H. magnus являются самостоятельными видами. Рассмотрены гипотезы о статусе этих таксонов. Показано, что название H. sulcatus было применено к таксону, описанному как H. magnus, на основании изменчивого признака терминалий самки, не имеющего в данном случае диагностического значения. Кроме того, типовая местность H. sulcatus находится в южных регионах Индии, где до сих пор не было найдено ни одного достоверно идентифицированного экземпляра H. magnus. Поэтому в настоящей статье название H. sulcatus признано старшим субъективным синонимом H. serriger Westwood, 1837, syn. resurr., а название H. magnus, nom. resurr. восстановлено для таксона, распространенного на севере. Кроме того, приведено подробное переописание терминалий самки Halys shaista Ghauri, 1988 и терминалий самца и самки Neohalys serricollis (Westwood, 1837). Описан новый вид Halys brocchus sp. nov., отличающийся от всех других видов рода прежде всего уникальным признаком пигофора. Приведён обновленный ключ для видов рода Halys Fabricius, 1803. Название H. hyderabadiensis Memon, Parveen, Ahmad et Shah, 2017, syn. nov. признано младшим синонимом H. magnus. Название Neohalys Azim, 2002, syn. nov. признано младшим субъективным синонимом и младшим омонимом Neohalys Ahmad et Perveen, 1982. Neohalys acuticornis Ahmad et Perveen, 1982, syn. nov., N. longirostratusAhmad et Perveen, 1982, syn. nov., и N. minirostratus Ahmad et Perveen, 1982, syn. nov. сведены в синонимы к N. serricollis.
