Резюме. Большая одиночная асцидия Microcosmus armatus sp. nov. описана из Охотского моря. Это первая находка представителя рода Microcosmus Heller, 1877 в холодных водах СевероЗападной Пацифики. Род относится к семейству Bolteniidae, ранее известному как Pyuridae.
