FIRST INFORMATION LETTER
According to the decision of
the Central Council from 31st March 2000, the XIIth Congress of the
Russian Entomological Society (REO) will be held in St.Petersburg,
Russia, from 19th to 24th August 2002

The
program will include plenary sessions, sections, and workshops
within the sections. The subject of sections and workshops will cover
all branches of fundamental and applied entomology. The lectures on
plenary sessions should not exceed 20 minutes, and on sections and
workshops - 10 minutes.
Official
languages: Russian and English.
Abstracts
of papers and posters should not exceed one page of standard text, must
be written by a Word processor (WinWord) or as ASCII-files and delivered
on diskette or by e-mail.
The
titles of papers will be placed on Congress-site in Internet as it
will arrive to the Organizing Committee. At the author's desire, the
abstracts could be also placed on the same site before its printing
publication. The Organizing Committee keeps the right to make editorial
corrections. The program and all abstracts will be published before the
registration of participants. The publication of the widening versions
of selected papers is planning after the Congress as a separate volume.
A size
of Congress fees, possible accomodations, etc., will be announcedin
the second information letter at April 2001.
