These factographic tables permit obtaining diverse information and conduct analysis of different distribution types of species and genera on different levels of zoogeographic classification and creating classification of distribution types.
The number of possible distribution types is determined in the PARHOST1 system by a special program, which analyses all combinations of zoogeographical regions for different species and genera of fleas. Names of these distribution types are formed automatically. Further work on this primary classification of distribution ranges envisages its further refining by changing the number of distribution ranges as a result of refining the data on the distribution of taxa.
