  Systematics and faunistics of metallic wood borers (Coleoptera, Buprestidae), adult morphology, zoogeography, ecology of buprestids of the Palaearctic and Oriental region;
  Systematics and faunistics of beetles of Armenia;
  Biodiversity conservation, Especially Protected Natural Areas.
