It includes photographs of both sexes from nearly all the species, in dorsal,
ventral and lateral views, emphasizing the morphological characteristics of
diagnostical value. It also includes determination keys for all taxa to make
easier the verification of the determinations. It includes 129 species,
19 of them with systematical and distributional changes. Each species has
its taxonomical status as well its types, morphological description, biology,
geographical distribution (a map of Cuba with occurrence localities is provided),
and all the data of the checked specimens, with a graph showing the monthly
collecting data. This is the first of the two volumes as a result of more than
15 years of collecting in the island. It also includes the data of the revision
of all the Cuban insect collections since the XX century. It is the referencial
book of the Cerambycidae of Cuba.
