Now, PICKEY authors (M.Dianov and A.Lobanov) are about to present new Windows'95/98/NT version of PICKEY (PICKEY-8).
New version provides for taxa and characters management without restrictions of its number. The number of states of character is increased up to 16. As compared to elder versions of PICKEY (with firmly built-in diagnostic algorithm) its possible now to use probabilistic algorithm for diagnosis. Therefore, all taxa are not deleted from available taxa list during identification. The possibility of multiple choice of any states of character is included, as well.
New version of PICKEY inherites our old interface with reduced number of controls giving maximum manageability of screen area for best image presentation.
