Review of the genera of the family Sagittidae with separation of a new subfamily and description of a new species of the genus Sagitta from the Sea of Japan (Chaetognatha)

Abstract. Diagnoses and lists of species are given for the genera of Sagittidae. A new subfamily Flaccisagittinae is established for the genera Flaccisagitta, Pseudosagitta, Accedosagitta, and Abosagitta. A new species, Sagitta sceptrum sp. n., is described from the Sea of Japan.
