Abstract. Two typically coastal halophilous species: Telmatoscopus similis Tonnoir (Psychodidae) and Thoracochaeta brachystoma (Stenhammar) (Sphaeroceridae), were collected at the shore of a freshwater lake in Pskov Prov.
