Eufolliculina brunea sp. nov. (Ciliophora, Heterotrichida), a symbiont of wood-boring Limnoria isopods

Abstract. Two well-known and one new species of folliculinids, obligate symbionts of the gribble (Limnoria Leach, 1814) are illustrated, and the new species is described in detail. Its placement in Eufolliculina Hadzi, 1951 is temporary because of the doubtful taxonomic status of this genus.
