Larval morphology of the water mite Hydryphantes octoporus Koenike (Acariformes: Hydryphantidae)

Abstract. The larva of the water mite Hydryphantes octoporus is described. Morphology of larvae in H. octoporus and H. thoni is identical, and the latter should be considered a junior synonym of H. octoporus.
