Early life history of two Channichthys species from the Kerguelen Islands, Antarctica (Pisces: Notothenioidei: Channichthyidae)

O.S. Voskoboinikova

Abstract. Examination of 172 larvae and juveniles of the genus Channichthys from the Kerguelen Islands confirmed the existence of two species in this genus, Ch. rhinoceratus and Ch. rugosus. They can be distinguished by the meristic characters and pigmentation.
