On the status, synonymy and tribal position of Phaeocoris Jakovlev, 1887 (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae)

D.A. Gapon & M. Baena

Abstract. Phaeocoris is resurrected from synonymy with Dymantis. Lodosia is synonymized with Phaeocoris, and L. gonocoxa, with Ph. ellipticus. The structure of the male and female genitalia of Phaeocoris shows that this genus does not belong to Sciocorini, but also its placement in Myrocheini is problematic.
