A new species of the genus Caprella from the sublittoral of the Komandor Islands, North West Pacific (Crustacea, Amphipoda: Caprellidae)

Abstract. Caprella vitjazi sp. n. from the sublittoral of the Komandor Islands is described. The most characteristic feature of the new species is the presence of an acute spine on the outer distal margin of propodus of gnathopod II, above the articulation of propodus with dactylus.
