Type species designations for Sphenoptera Dejean and Rhaphidochila Jakovlev (Coleoptera: Buprestidae)

Abstract. Buprestis antiqua Illiger, 1803 and Sphenoptera coerulea Jakovlev, 1898 are designated as type species of Sphenoptera Dejean, 1833 and Rhaphidochila Jakovlev, 1890, respectively.
