Redescription of Gymnogonos ameriensis (Stepanjants, 1979) and comments on other species of the genus Gymnogonos (Cnidaria, Hydrozoa: Corymorphidae, Corymorphinae)

Abstract. The genus Gymnogonos Bonnevie, 1898 and the Antarctic species G. ameriensis (Stepanjants, 1979) are redescribed. Comments on other species of the genus and a key to Gymnogonos species are given.
