Morphology of some species of heterotrophic flagellates from tundra soils (Protista: Kinetoplastea: Cercomonadida)

Abstract. Cell morphology and biodiversity of heterotrophic flagellates from soils of the south-eastern part of Khallerchinskaya Tundra were examined for the first time in literature. Species-specific features were analysed, and descriptions of the specie, based on drawings and photos of living cells, are given. The species Cercobodo ovatus Lemmermann, 1910 is transferred to the genus Cercomonas Dujardin, 1841.
