I am a nature photographer based in Fairfield, Iowa; born 1978 in Czechoslovakia. In the year 2000 I have discovered amazing macro-world right outside my way to school. I have become so mesmerized by dew drops on the eyes of grasshoppers, compound eyes of praying mantis, and beautiful colors of butterfly's wings, that I've devoted my BFA work on insect photography. In 2004 I was awarded Outstanding Student and local TV became interested in my nature photography. I've became inspired and started to travel. I've photographed insects, animals and landscapes in many places around the world. My profession involves photography as well. I've joined the company, The Sky Factory that creates backlit wall and ceiling murals. Winning the first Picture Sustainability Photo Contest was a milestone in my life, and it has inspired me to continue pursuing my passion for photographing nature. It warms my heart to know that my pictures touch people and can help support our endangered environment. Allow me to share with you my passion, talent and experience.
