Pterostichus (Cryobius) kurosawai Tanaka, 1958



Metacoxa with 3 setiferous pores. The subgenus Cryobius is easily distinguished from other Far-Eastern subgenera of Pterostichus by the metacoxa with 3 (rarely with 4-5) setiferous pores (Berlov, 1996).
Metatrochanter with 1 setiferous pore. Mesofemur with 2 setae along hind margin.
Last tarsal segment setose underneath. Proepisternum smooth (rarely with few punctures).
Head smooth. Eyes normal. Pronotum cordate, with latero-basal carina.
Elytra with small humeral tooth. Short scutellar stria with a pore.
Intervals flat. Third interval with 2 (rarely 3) setiferous pores nearer toward second stria.
Endophallus (Fig. 6). Total length 6,3 - 7,2 mm.
