Pterostichus (Platysma) leptis H.Bates, 1883



Metatrochanter without a setiferous pore. Metacoxa with 2 setiferous pores.
Mesofemur with 5-7 setae along hind margin. Last tarsal segment glabrous underneath.
Metepisternum elongated. Proepisternum punctate.
Head punctate. Pronotum cordate, with latero-basal carina.
Elytra without humeral tooth. Striae distinct. Scutellar stria with a pore. Intervals convex.
Third interval with 3 setiferous pores: first pore sinuated near third stria, remainder nearer toward second stria.
Anal sternum of male without longitudinal carina.
Right paramere long. Endophallus (Fig. 2).
Total length 17,3 - 20,2 mm.

P. leptis is closely allied to P. eschscholtzi Germar, and probably is only subspecies of it.
