Proficient at methods of morphological investigations of fleas and their classifications. Author of AIS (Analytical Information System) on the world flea fauna and the method of integrated investigations of distribution and host-association of fleas.

The main results: A study has been conducted of structures and variations of more than 150 structures of head, thorax and abdomen in fleas; an original classifications of flea order and family Ischnopsyllidae have been substantiated; an original analytical system on the world flea fauna has been created; distribution patterns of fleas order have been established.
