Abstract
A new species of ground beetles (Coleoptea: Carabidae) belonging to
the subgenus Aphaonus Reitter, 1887 (genus Pterostichus Bonelli, 1810)
is described, based on two specimens collected from
the sacred grove of Khevsha (Eastern Georgia).
