Очень небольшое семейство Trachelostenidae Solier in Gay, 1851 (в некоторых источниках автор - Lacordaire, 1859)
встречается только в Неотропической области (в Чили и Перу).
Включает 3-4 вида из двух родов:
Lagriola Kirsch, 1873
Lagriola denticulata Kirsch, 1873
Lagriola operosa Kirsch, 1873
Trachelostenus Solier in Gay, 1851
Trachelostenus inaequalis Solier, 1851 (наиболее известный вид)
Trachelostenus fasciculiferus Philippi & Philippi, 1860 (сомнительный вид)
Семейство относится к надсемейству Tenebrionoidea и иногда (но очень немногими систематиками) включается как триба в состав Tenebrionidae.
