В 1999 году я завершил высшее образование по специальности "Лесное хозяйство" в Лесотехническом университете в Софии. С 2000 г. работаю ассистентом по лесной энтомологии. В основном интересуюсь насекомыми ксилобионтами и ксилофагами, в частности - Cerambycidae и Scolytidae. В настоящее время я завершаю работу над диссертацией о короедах сосны (Pinus sylvestris) в юго-западной Болгарии.

В 2001 году я сделал первые фотографии насекомых в естественых условиях. Мои фотографические работы сосредоточены в разделе изображений жуков.
