D.V. Vlasov: To fauna of Anthribidae of Yaroslavl reg.

TO THE FAUNA OF ANTHRIBID WEEVILS (COLEOPTERA, ANTHRIBIDAE) IN THE YAROSLAVL REGION

Antribid weevils (Coleoptera, Antnribidae) are not great in number family (approximately 80 species in Russia) and it has the most diversity in the Far East. In the European part of Russia, amount of species including in the official list varies from one (Perm region) till nine (Moscow region).

We adduce the annotate list of Antribid weevils found in Yaroslavl region. Athers collections (1988 – 2002), all other available collections and literature data were the basis of it.

  1. Tropideres dorsalis (Thunberg 1796) – Yaroslavl, Pereslavl district. Single.
  2. Tropideres albirostris (Herbst 1783) – Yaroslavl, Pereslavl district. Literature data.
  3. Allandrus undulatus (Panzer 1795) – Yaroslavl suburb, 9 VIII 2001 (three specimens); Milanino village, Tutaev district, 28 VI 2001 (five specimens) – on dead alder-tree. New indication.
  4. Rhaphitropis marchicus (Herbst 1797) – Yaroslavl, Rybinsk district. Single.
  5. Platyrhinus resinosus (Scopoli 1763) – Yaroslavl, Uglitch, Rostov district. Single.
  6. Dissoleucas niveirostris (Fabricius 1798) – Yaroslavl, Gavrilov–Yam, Uglitch, Pereslavl district. Single.
  7. Platystomus albinus (Linnaeus 1758) – the most extended kind. Single species. Imago: V – VI; VIII – X.
  8. Anthribus nebulosus Forster 1771 – Yaroslavl, Pereslavl district. Single.
  9. Anthribus scapularis Gebler 1833 – Yaroslavl district. Literature data.
  10. Choragus cheppardi Kirby 1819 – Mikchaltsevo village, Tutaev district, 26-27 VI 2002 (many exemp.), elm-stub. New indication.

 

Thus, in the Yaroslavl region 10 antribid weevils were noted and eight species were found in fact.
